I feel your pain x as a florist I hate throwing away any flowers or plants x I cut the flowers down each day shorter and more bare but will no throw away until brown
The plants go into my “hospital “in the back room to be recover hopefully
May I suggest unless you have already cremated your honeysuckle. Remove all the compost stripping back to bear roots trim off dead bits wash roots and repot put in kitchen window and maybe watch it recover x good luck x Keep up the great writing and thanks to you
